On the 25th of December, the National Olympic Committee hosted a ceremony devoted to the Sport results for 2019. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the National Olympic Committee, attended the ceremony.
The head of state took a floor at the event.
After this, awards were given to athletes and sport professionals who have served in the development of physical culture and sports in Azerbaijan and achieved outstanding results in 2019.
The head of state presented documents on awarding personal scholarships of the President of Azerbaijan Republic to Alavardi Julfayev, Yavuz Eminbayli and Ramiz Hajiyev for their services in the growth of sports in our country.
Pasha Aliyev, Tarlan Hasanov, Shahlar Mustafayev, Azer Hasanov, Igdam Alakbarov, Tofig Heydarov, and Boyukaga Agayev were presented the Honored figure of physical education and sports title for their attendances in the expansion of sports in Azerbaijan, Natig Aliyev and Emiliya Huseynova Honored doctor title for their assistance in the rising of sports health, Rashad Javadov the Honored journalist title.
At the event, Parviz Tagiyev, Ramiz Guliyev, Nazim Samadov, Orkhan Garibov, Yalchin Qarali, Shahin Mahmudov, Nadir Azizov and Ramil Ahmadov were awarded honorary decrees of the President of the National Olympic Committee.
A group of athletes and sport professionals-Salman Alizadeh, Bahram Murvatov, Garib Aliyev, Rashad Mammadov, Ramiz Ramizzadeh, Bahruz Salehli, Sabina Mammadova, Elkhan Suleymanov, Said Guliyev, Abulfaz Mammadov, Rashad Abdurrahmanov, Vladislav Gadirov, Anar Allahverdiyev, Khanim Balajayeva, Karim Sardarov, Emil Hasanov, Kamil Gafarov, Jeyhun Huseynov, Asiman Gurbanli, Jabbar Mustafayev, Faig Guliyev, Shahbandlu Rajabzadeh and Samad Gurbanov were given new apartments by President Ilham Aliyev for their achievements in 2019.
Then, member of the Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee, founder and head of the Miniature Book Museum, Honored Art Figure Zarifa Salahova presented souvenirs to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
