On October 26-27, the Eastern European Powerlifting Championships have been held in St.Petersburg, Russia. The well-known athlete Ramil Ahmed, a representative of the “Zirve” International Sport Clubs also participated in the event.
He performed in the weight class up to 100 kg and showed high result among the 80 people competing in his division. In total, our athlete hoisted 815kg (290+205+320).
Speaking to 1news.az after the competitions, Ramil Ahmed said that he devoted this success to the National Flag Day of Azerbaijan: “Additionally, I express my profound gratitude to my coaching partner Hafiz Verdi, who was with me during the training-camp, as well as the management of” Zirve “ISC.”
