On September 20-23, next Azerbaijan Powerlifting Cup was held. The competition traditionally took place in the competition hall of AAAF Park Residential Complex. More than 100 athletes competed in various weight categories at the three-day tournament.
Interestingly, President of the Azerbaijan Powerlifting Federation Aladdin Aliyev was also among the participants.
The competition has been selective and experimental for Open World Powerlifting Championship in Orlando, USA, on November 5-11.
