“The VI Zirve Games” was characterized by exciting competitions and high organizational levels

On May 5-13, the “VI Zirve Games” among youth, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of National Leader, deceased President Heydar Aliev, was held in the competition hall of AAAF Park Residential Complex. This competition, which will be attended by athletes engaged in various sports in the “Zirve” International Sport Clubs, is becoming a great tradition.
This year was a medal fight for 5 sports – weightlifting, judo, swimming, karate and artistic gymnastics. The athletes of “Zirve” International Sport Clubs in cities, towns and villages , who passed the doctor’s examination and have an invitation, participated in the competitions.Totally, more than 600 athletes joined the struggele in the VI Zirve Games.
During the competitions, a number of respected guests came to the Zirve Games and expressed their satisfaction with the organizational level. This wonderful initiative of the AAAF Park Residential Complex was applauded and the maintenance of Heydar Aliyev’s heritage in this way was welcomed with special sympathy. The medal struggle holding in the Complex’s competition halls for a week will stay for a long time in the memory of athletes, coaches, and other professionals, guests and spectators.
Additionally, athletes and teams holding I-II-III places in each age group and weight categories were awarded with medals and diplomas, special prizes of “Zirve” International Sport Clubs LLC.
The aim of Zirve Games is to maintain the heritage of the leader, to convey his work to our future generations, as well as to promote and develop sports in various places, to strengthen friendship relations between the athletes and coaches, to increase and improve the athletes’ skill level, to improve competition habits and the evaluation of coach-teaching activities.
