On May 5-14, the “VI Zirve Games” among youth, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of National Leader, deceased President Heydar Aliev, continue in the competition hall of AAAF Park Residential Complex. On May 6, the WKF Karate competitions ended in the competition hall of Complex. This time, 300 athletes competed for 88 medals in the tournament. The meetings were very interesting and attracted enough.
President of the National Karate Federation Yashar Bashirov, Chairman of the Board of Judges Jahangir Babayev, chief coach of the National Senior team Shahin Khudaverdiyev and a lot of members of the national team, world and European champions took part in the competition. They expressed their gratitude for the organizational support and thanked the club management for their work.
Under the leadership of Rustam Akberov, members of “Zirve” International Sport Clubs won total 9 medals, including 1 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals.
The aim is to maintain the heritage of the leader, to convey his work to our future generations, as well as to promote and develop sports in various places, to strengthen friendship relations between the athletes and coaches, to increase and improve the athletes’ skill level, to improve competition habits and the evaluation of coach-teaching activities.
