Azerbaijan Championship, between boys and girls under 15-17 ( 2000-2001 and 2002-2004 year teenagers) continues, which will be held in Weightlifting Academy, village North Dres , on February 16-19. Nearly 150 young athletes representing YSS, sport communities from all cities and villages of the country , clubs, centers, participate in the competition.
On the second day of competitions, teenage boys U-17 have competed in A Group with 56kg weight category. Here, Lerik athlete – Ismayil Mammadov has been gold medalist with total 209 kg (94+115) result. Kamran usubov has been silver medalist with total 182 kg (81+101), and showing 165 kg (75+90) result, Ali Zeynalov has owned bronze medal.
