7  Medals from “ Jidachiv – Zirve” in Ukraine Cup!

On February 1-4, Weightlifting Country Cup was held in Chernigov, Ukraine. In the first competition of the year, nearly 200 athletes from 22 provinces competed. The cup that  the winners and awarders of World and European Championships, Olympic Games, as well as Country Championships competed , was remembered with interesting struggle as expected.
As always, Ukraine branch of “Zirve” International Sport Clubs – “Jidachiv-Zirve” athletes also participated in this competition. Denis Gotfrid’s apprentices consisting of 6 women and 5 women athletes, won 2 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals in this Cup.
In the men’s struggle, Anton Plesnoy left all his opponents behind and rose to the top of honorary chair. Kirill Pirogov, Vitali Olevich and Vitali Smoshek were silver medalists.
In the women’s struggle, Anna Panova was champion, Olga Zayats and Yelzaveta Baranova were bronze medalists.
