Azerbaijan Championship on judo, has been held among seniors in Baku Sports Palace, in December 22-23. In the competition, the best man and woman judoists of our country have competed.
“Zirve” judoists have successfully demonstrated their skill on the judo mat. “Ismayilli-Zirve” representative-Zehra Mehdiyeva has excelled in 52kg weight category. She has lost only one match and has owned bronze medal.
“Absheron-Zirve” judoist-Gunel Hasanli could get on the highest step of honorary chair in 78kg weight category. Ahead of all competitors , our judoist once again has become Azerbaijan champion. The winners have been awarded with medals, certificates and cash prizes. It has been noted that the winners of the Republic Championship will be invited to our national team training camp.
