Men and women’s European Weightlifting Championship that will be held in 8-16th of april Fyord city of Norway have already started. Today the first one member of Azerbaijan national team Elmar Aliyev made us happy with little medal by 56 kg weight category.
He was not successfull in snatch. He only was 102 kg in snatch and took 8th place.
But in clean and jerk he was absolutely successful. H maximum was 136 kg in clean and jerk. So he has owned bronze medal of European championship.
Aliyev totally was 238kg (102+136) result and took 7th place in general ranking. Congratulations Elmar!
