Azerbaijan Weightlifting championship started in sport hall of AAAF Park Residential Complex. About 100 sportsmen test their power in competition from different regions of Azerbaijan. Championship will be held in 12-13th of February. Women will compete in 6, men will compete in 8 weight categories.
At last in 69 kg weight category athletes joined to competition. Practised athlete Serdar Hasanov owned to gold medal. Second place have been got by Pasha Ibrahimli after his long-term injury. “Zirve” athlete totally was 260 kg (120+140) and demonstrated good performance.
