Azerbaijan Weightlifting championship started in sport hall of AAAF Park Residential Complex. About 100 sportsmen test their power in competition from different regions of Azerbaijan. Championship will be held in 12-13th of February. Women will compete in 6, men will compete in 8 weight categories.
Today first 77 kg weight category athletes did up to platform.There was significant event for our club that our representative Kenan Aliguliyev did master sport normative in this competition. 18 aged “Lankaran-Zirve” athlete has owned silver medal by 286 kg (125+161) result. Gratifying that bronze medal has been got by “Zirve” disciple Orkhan Zeynalov as well. But Afgan Bayramov became champion.
