Opening ceremony of “9th Zirve Cup” of “Zirve” International Sport clubs that will be held in 29-30th of june in Astara Olympic Sport Complex has already held. The first representatives of all the branch clubs have been invited to special designed stage. From 12 countries 26 club presented to audiences with their flags and boards. Dear friends!
I’m greeting all of you in one of the best parts of Azerbaijan – Astara. Today is very important and historical day for us. In this international sport competition from Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Iran, Moldova, USA, Bulgaria, Israel, Russia and Azerbaijan sportsmen will compete. Regarding to this event I congratulate all of you.
Our great leader Heydar Aliyev were saying “The time will come, Azerbaijan will give rise to the world like a sun”, that expression had already came true. Really today Azerbaijan is strong and able to do everything.
By celebrating of 1st European Games, name of our country has been written to the history with gold letters. This event happened first time in the world. That was logical result of our president Ilham Aliyev’s successes and his international rating. Competition continued 17 days and sportsmen of Azerbaijan performed very well. They won 56 medals and between 50 countries they took 2nd place.
We proud of our Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan is improving fastly in all the branches. There were created wide opportunity for improving of sport as well in our country. In a short time more than 40 Olympic Sport Complex have built and given to use.
In Astara city nice opportunity have been created for sport as well. Astara Olympic Sport Complex and Boxing Center is matchless gift to youth by leader of our country. Our sportsmen also did their best for Azerbaijan all time time . We believe that in this great sport competition representatives of our country will make us happy again with their performances.

“Dear sportsmen, trainers and guests!
I greet all of you in “south gate” of Azerbaijan – Astara.
I believe that “9th Zirve Cup” that will be held in Astara Olympic Sport Complex going to very interesting for all of you. This is very great honor and responsibility for our club.
In 2014 “8th Zirve Cup” held in AAAF Park Residential Complex and a year already past. During this period sportsmen of “Zirve ISC” successfully performed in world, European and Islam Solidarity championships and they hae got 3 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals. I do congratulate them myself and from name of club as well.
In 2015 there happened great events in Azerbaijan sport world . So “1st European Games” has been held perfect and Mr. President Ilham Aliyev was leading it individually. The “1st European Games” that was held in Baku city was very big stimulus for future development line of our club as well.
I hope beautiful nature, Caspian Sea and mountains with green forests of Astara will very mysterious for participants of competition.
