As you know weighlifting championship has finished in Tbilisi.
In 16th of april woman athlete of Azerbaijan Anastasia Ibrahimli did up to platform in 69 kg weight category.
She has lifted 103 kg in snatch.
But in clean and jerk she was first 120, then was 126 kg. In her 3rd attempt Anastasia Ibrahimli was 130 kg and won bronze medal of Europe championship.
After end of competition A. Ibrahimli has shared her happiness with AZERTAC: “Our aim was to get gold medal of championship. But in this tournament stronger sportswomen were performing and I have finished competition in 3rd place. I’m very happy that return to Azerbaijan with medal. After now again I will try to protect worthily sport honour of Azerbaijan. World championship is closer and I believe that we will be successful in this championship as well”.
