Yesterday Senior Europe Weighlifting Championship started in capital city of Israel – Tel Aviv. “Zirve – Chisinau” Sport Club representatives also are taking part in this competition. One of them – Oleg Sirgi tested his power yesterday. He did fight in 56 kg. Oleg did 109 kg result in snatch and could not be medalist. But in clean and jerk Sirgi did show better performance. He did lift 146 kg and got silver medal of Europe Championship. Oleg took 4th place in total weight with 255 kg.
This medal is first medal of our club that has been won in international arena in this yerar. According to this event we congratulate Oleg Sirgi, his trainers and all representatives of our club.
